I was reading an article in Madame Noire recently that talked about not settling.  And although I try not to let these articles upset me, what IS upsetting is that these conflicting messages exist in our society.  Many women are confused about what they should do because they hear

“Don’t settle”

And at the same time they hear

“You’ve got to be realistic.  No one is perfect.”
